I’ve been working on this project on and off for a couple of years now. This is not counting all the “Tubization” experiments with CD players that goes as far back as I can remember. I have made a write-up’s for a couple of them. These are just two that I have documented:
Playing with those commercial products was fun and every time I’ve learned some new trick that made them sound better and better. So I decided to share all those things I’ve learned about TDA154x DAC IC’s with my readers. I dare to say that this is probably everything there is to know about those DAC’s. Articles below contain enough information to squeeze every last bit of performance out of TDA1541A IC’s and make a best sounding DAC possible.
I also made a short primer about clock oscillators for audio. This is a very important topic and I will continue to pursue it in future articles.
It all came together just a couple of months ago. I’ve now had some time to reflect on things and put it all online.
I hope it covers me for a lack of new content in 2022 🙂 Happy reading!
